One for the books

Soooo...it's my middle child's turn to have his Confirmation (you can see my eldest's one here). It's always kinda crazy preparing for Catholic sacraments because it always involves preparatory meetings and such, but man...I do think it's worth it (for me anyhoo) when you see them in the ceremony.

with our parish priest...he's a cool dude:)

Of course, one must take selfies in church...sigh....

My younger sis was my son's sponsor.

I don't know if there is something like this in the Methodist church (a spinoff of a spin off (Church of England) of the Catholic church. I think they were glad we had at least semi-good attendance.
Congratulations to your family chingu! Gosh how quickly kids grow :D

The selfies in church made in smile. Well it looked like a very special occasion, and you all looked very smart. We go to a Baptist church so things are done a little differently.
Congratulations! What a happy day :)
