@ Canada's Wonderland

We were able to go to Canada's Wonderland (an amusement park) this weekend for my husband's company day. It was such a great day to go coz although they forecasted rain, the weather held up and it was super hot! We also got to go in earlier than the crowd...always a bonus.

Here are some pics taken that day...enjoy:D

Guys, I would like to take this opportunity as well to thank The Knitting Guild Association for including me in their latest newsletter. They featured my Two Birds With One Stone post! What an honour!

True Blue

Wearing some of my fave pieces:)

The Carbeth

Just wanna share the latest garment I've knitted, you guys:)

The sweater pattern is Carbeth by Kate Davies and the yarn I used (the blue one) is the Quarry by Brooklyn Tweed. Both winners!

I added the colour work but otherwise, did everything as is. I am really digging cropped tops lately, and this sweater is just the right length.

Tartan fever

I've been obsessing over tartan fabric lately. I was so happy to have found these new pants from Hot Topic...last one and in my size too! It was meant to be...bwahaha!

Out and about:

Because sneakers go with everything....

If I can get away with wearing them on formal occasions, I probably would.

What have I been watching #5

Some of the stuff I've watched that I loved and highly recommend:D

1) Fullmetal Alchemist (live action movie)
It's almost scary how much I loved this adaptation of the famous animé. Ryosuke Ramada was just so awesome as Ed.
This is on Netflix, guys! Go watch it now:)

2) Avengers: Infinity War
I feel like the whole universe has seen this film, but if you haven't yet, GO GO GO! As much as I love DC, the MCU films are just awesome, and the ending....the ENDING!!!!!! GAAAAAAAH!

3)The Host
I've seen this a long time ago, but haven't featured it here yet so I thought I'd mention it now. This is a great Korean film that you can watch on Netflix. As a monster movie, this movie has its funny and also heart-wrenching moments.

4) Ready Player One
Also saw this awhile back but again another film that deserves a mention. Spielberg knows how to do adventure films, y'all! This is like Goonies for the 21st century.

5) The Chase
I was just looking for a film to watch and th…

Flower power, and a cabled sweater

I love this new shirt my mom gave me. It's just the right fit, and it drapes nicely. For the life of me, though, I can't figure out what type of flower this is. I thought they were grapes at first.

This is the type of deep thinking that occupies me....

On another note, I've mentioned before that I am taking a knitted sweater design course from TKGA. Well, I finished the sweater, you guys! It's an original pattern...designed and knitted by yours truly and made for my daughter!

In progress:

And here she is wearing it...

I'm so proud of this sweater! Not perfect, but not bad for my first time in designing something:)  Out and about....
