Is it a phase?

My hubby says I always get into these phases where I wear the same thing over and over. My sisters think I've been wearing the same thing forever....bwahaha! Well, I think I came out of my mother's womb wearing something like this, but with more hair....

Hope everyone's having a kick-ass weekend so far:) Can you believe it's the last day of September?!?!

New in...wedge

I have been wanting wedge sneakers for awhile...well...since Isabel Marant came out with her super cool ones. They cost an arm and a leg, however, so I have been looking for awhile for something similar but with a better (translation: cheaper) price.

I finally found them at Topshop.

These babies are soooo comfy!
Any new score for you lately, ladies and gents?

Really loving these new trousers from H&M....look at the crazy pattern!

Do you guys like the Aztec print?

Happy Hump Day, everyone!

Another uniform

You may have seen this outfit before if you've been reading my blog for awhile. It's one of my fave fall ensembles: sweater, jeans, and booties. These booties have become a favourite again as of late. I'm just waiting for it to get that really worn-out look.:P

Do you guys have a go-to fall look?
Here's to a fantastic week ahead:) Have a good one, everyone!

"One Ring to bring them all..."

To all of you who are Tolkien fans, I would like to celebrate today with you. It's Bilbo and Frodo's birthday!!
Happy Birthday, Bilbo and Frodo!

I can still remember the first time I heard of Tolkien. It was back in high school, and I had just read my very first fantasy book- The Sapphire Rose by David Eddings. I loved that book so much that I went on a BBS Fantasy/Sci Fi board (do any of you remember those?), and asked what books to read after. Everyone said Lord of the Rings, and I mean everyone. (I got about close to a 100 responses:O)

I wasn't able to read them right away. Eventually, my older sis bought The Hobbit and the LOTR set, and I was hooked. Such a fantastic world Tolkien has rich and detailed that you are transported into Middle-earth right then and there.

With Peter Jackson and the LOTR movies, fans old and new got to enjoy Tolkien's world on the big screen, and for that, us Tolkien fans are grateful. PJ did such an awesome job translating t…

It is time.

You know fall is here when the jackets come out (shhhh...I'm secretly happy it's getting cooler but don't tell anyone.)

We took these photos at Walmart, looking for Halloween stuff, coz it's never to early to prepare for Halloween, right?

Have a great Thursday, peeps:) Mwah!

I don't why everyone thinks these are pyjama bottoms. I remember posting a picture wearing these on a public FB page, and got some not-so-nice comments. Well, I still wear them all the time. Thank God I have no shame, right?

Have a great Tuesday, everyone:) This week is Tolkien Week, so if you're a nerd like me, it's bound to be a great few days ahead! The new trailer for The Hobbit comes out tomorrow...weeeeeeeeee!

And now for something completely different!

Just to mix it up a bit, I thought I'd do something different for today's post. What, you may ask? Why, interview my dear hubby, of course! I know you're all dying to know who's the dude crazy enough to put up with the shenanigans in this household...

Also, if you've read and liked 50 Shades of Grey (like me), then I dedicate this interview to you. (P.S. The main characters in the novel met when the girl had to interview the guy.)

G's the hubsters...

me: Are you excited to do this interview?
G: Errrr....
me: I know you are! So, let's start. Fave colour?
G: Gray.
me: (giggles) Of course! And fave book?
G: My reading comprehension is not very good, and thus, I don't read much.
me: Ohhhhkay..."not applicable" then. Fave movie?
G: "Martyrs"
me: Wha?
G: Just google it.
me: Ohhhhhkay....Fave food?
G: Chicken curry.
me: Of course, something I don't make.
G: (silence)
me: Ohhhhhkay....So, what did you think of me when we first met?
G: We…

Bite me!

This outfit reminds me of the movie Reality Bites (one of my all-time fave movies), even though it's really not quite what Winona wore in the film. Close enough for me though...:P

My take:

TGIF, peeps...yay! :)

I'm such a rebel!

Look! I'm wearing white after Labour Day! Waaaaheeeeee!

Happy Hump Day, everyone:) May the odds be even in your favour.

We say "oot and aboot"

This was taken on a day just spent running around town. Hence, another casual and basic outfit...the best kind, right? :P

NOTD: Steel

Now that fall is here, I thought I'd celebrate it by putting on this very autumn-appropriate colour:)

Love this colour, but to to be honest, for the amount I paid for this polish, I was expecting more. The application was just ok, and I didn't like the brush too much. Oh well....

Do you guys have a fave polish colour for the fall/winter season?

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Helen of Lovecats Inc. for including one of my outfits in her Favourites of the Week post. Helen, you rock!

Photobomb #2

I think the second pic says it all....

Obsession #15

Happy Tuesday, gals and guys:) Today is the first day of school over here, thus really signaling the end of summer. What better way to celebrate the start of the fall season than by obsessing over a new coat, right? Bwahaha!

And of course, coats by Isabel Marant are always on the want list!

What are you guys obsessing over for the fall season? Is it a new pair of shoes...a new bag? Do tell:)

Let's Go To The Ex

For us Canadians in Toronto, one of the signs that summer is truly ending is the start of the Canadian National Exhibition (or CNE). Beginning around the middle of August (and ending on Labour Day), the Ex is one of those things that our whole family looks forward to attending every year (see blog here for last year's trip). Yesterday, we were able to do so, and thought I'd share some pics:)

Have a great Sunday, ladies and gents:) How's your weekend so far?
