Easter-Inspired

Image
Easter, to me, always signals the beginning of spring no matter what the current weather is like (aside from the religious significance, obviously:P). To celebrate, I did my nails in this pastel colour, which I normally don't wear but I think is quite spring-y/Easter-y:) Essie polish in Lilacism The nail colour came from this mini Spring 2010 Essie collection I would also like to take this opportunity to thank bloggers.com for featuring my blog yesterday as one of the Picks of the Day:) Happy Easter, everyone:)

Lucky charm

I was lucky enough to be one of the ten recipients of the necklace that Beauty Follower  gave away on her blog. Thank you, BF, for this 2013 charm. The colour reminds me of the Greek skies (where she's from). I chose to wear it with a simple outfit, to make it stand out more. sweater from Off Saks 5th, American Eagle jeans, Topshop wedge sneakers selfie taken while out and about with the little princess Happy Friday to all of you. Here's to a lovely weekend ahead. It's Good Friday for us, and Easter this Sunday, so woohoo:) Thank you again, Beauty Follower:)

Just another outfit for running around:) It's starting to warm up a tiny little bit over here, so hopefully, this will be one of the last few weeks I'll be wearing a winter coat...fingers crossed! Forever 21 jacket, Zara sweater, LEI jeans, Doc Martens boots And on another news...  Rooth was kind enough to tell me (BIG THANK YOU, Rooth) that my submission for the New York Times Readers' Street Style for the week of March 18th got picked...yay!!! Here is the link :) I follow NYT on Twitter, and when they retweeted NYT Fashion asking for street style photos of the boyfriend jeans, I thought I'd give it a shot. I know my looks and style are not for everyone, so I was so surprised! Thank you, New York Times:)

Some of us Canadians are super excited that Target has finally opened here! My family and I would cross the US border before just to shop in this store, but now, we don't have to:) We had a chance to go to the Ajax,Ontario branch this weekend. I may have been slightly too excited. My husband actually thought it was Monday morning, as I was up so early...hah! The good thing was, we were there almost as soon as it opened and thus were able to beat the crowd! Here are some pictures I took, in case you haven't seen what Target looks like:) The set up is pretty much the same as the American stores, and am so happy that the brands I love from there such as Sonia Kashuk, Pixi Beauty and Mossimo have been brought in. Ready for summer:) Of course, a Toronto Maple Leafs section (along with some Blue Jays) :) These little girls' jackets are too adorable:) Starbucks inside! some of the haul (There may or may not be some junk food in

It is technically spring, but winter over here in Toronto is stubborn. Hence, you can still see snow. Boohissss! Game of Thrones:The Toronto Exhibition

My husband and I had the chance to attend the Game of Thrones exhibit at the Design Exchange on Bay St. If you're a fan of the TV show (or George R.R. Martin's book series), this is a must-see. Along with the being able to see the costumes and props used, there is also the interactive "Blackwater Bay" game where you get the chance to shoot flaming arrows. You also get the opportunity to sit on the Iron Throne. How awesome, right? Here are some pictures taken with my phone, because of course, I forgot my camera. Not smart, I am.... The first thing you see The House Stark costumes The House Lannister costumes Daenerys Targaryen's costumes the dragon eggs! Jon Snow's costume...sigh.... The closest I'll get to hanging out with Tyrion Lannister shooting my flaming arrows! the Iron Throne The staff takes an official pic, then e-mail it to you:) I picked the House Lan
