Double trouble

Image
I recently just blogged about this Alabama Chanin dress , and you guys...I am seriously in love it, just because it's so easy to wear, and plus, it's reversible:) One way I wear my Alabama Chanin A line tunic....(PS My daughter was wearing dungarees I made too!) And just in case you are wondering...here is a short video of my daughter singing Shallow while I accompanied her (shown in the first pic) at my younger sister's outdoor party. And here's another way I wore it: How was your weekend? I hope you are all keeping safe!

What have I been watching #24

Image
Soooo...it's been awhile since I posted stuff I've been watching, so this is quite a long one:) No worries...I won't bore you with a lot of text:D Here are the stuff I've enjoyed/currently enjoying watching:)   (all images from imdb.com)  1) MOUSE (series) This was recommended to me by my blogger friend Ellie , and it's so good, you guys! I just finished Ep20. So many twists and turns and can sometimes be confusing, but it's so well-written, and Lee Seung Gi is great as always. 2) The original The Killing (Forbrydelsen) I binge-watched the whole 4 seasons in record time. I so understand the hype now. Sofie Gräbøl was so perfect as Sarah Lund. (I tried watching the American version. It's ok...I'm kinda meh about it. I've only seen a few episodes though.) 3) The 8th Night This is a Korean horror film on Netflix. Anything with Lee Sung Min is just awesome. 3) The original The Bridge (Bron/Broen)-Season 1 Another Scandinavian show I highly recommend. Gr

Another one! #TheSchoolOfMaking

Sooooo....I finished hand-sewing another Alabama Chanin garment, you guys! This time, it's the A line tunic from the book Alabama Studio Sewing Patterns .  (Reverse-appliquéd the whole dress using the Alabama Chanin Anna's Garden stencil. I used Createx paint, airbrushing it to the outer fabric. Both outer and inner layer fabric are also from Alabama Chanin.) Modelling my Alabama Chanin A line tunic, y'all:) worn with a skirt I also sewed (McCalls 6654 pattern) and House of Harlow shoes A closer shot I made this so that I can wear the dress inside out...two tunics for the price of one, y'all! Hehe Weeeeeeee! A super short video of me working on it:) And here's a sneak peek on the project I'm already working on...I can't stop, you guys! I have their shirt workshop coming up soon too...LOLZ Do you wear tunics? I think it's a great length...a cross between a top and a dress. Very versatile, no?

90's redux

Image
Every time I wear this outfit, it totally reminds me of the 90's...remember Winona Ryder in Reality Bites? She was a total fashion inspiration then...along with Gwyneth Paltrow, of course! This post was totally inspired by blogger friend Shannon's post on  Creation of Beauty is Art:) Dress and bag from H&M, old leggings from Aritzia, Birkenstocks     with my DD With my bodyguards hahaha  Are you a fan of 90s fashion?

Found it!

Sooooo...I think I found a new favourite pair of pants, you guys! UNIQLO pants, worn with top from Urban Outfitters and Vans slip ons The funny thing is that these pants are described as 3/4 shorts ....LOLZ I feel like I can pretty much wear these pants with anything in my wardrobe... And here's my daughter wearing the navy version:D Anyhoo, these are the perfect pants for me:) You know what that means? I'll probably be sewing one! Here are the pattersn I am interested in making....both from Alabama Chanin ...again:D (Speaking of Alabama Chanin, I am enrolled in their Virtual Workshop...the one for T-shirt making. Super stoked! Will most likely do a blog post on it:) drawstring pants (image from alabamachanin.com) palazzo pants (image fro alabamachanin.com) Do you have a favourite pair of pants ? What brand is it from, or did you make it?
