Grey Gardens

Yay for flowy dresses in summer! Well, I wear them year round, but they really are the best for hot days.:)

The title has nothing to do with the outfit except for the colour of the dress. Have you seen Grey Gardens ? Loved that documentary.

I watched Grey Garden ages ago. It was so fascinating and disturbing at the same time! That is the perfect summer dress. I want a swingy dress like that but my husband thinks that silhouette looks like a sack ;p

That dress is PERFECTION and totally amazing for a warm day! Also, I totally loved Grey Gardens. I watched it for the first time a year or so ago and it blew my mind. It didn't seem real and yet.....it was.

I live for everything flowy in summers, don't wanna be bothered with fitted clothings when I am sweating profusely! I amazed that you sewed the dress by yourself, wish I knew sewing!

Nothing better on a hot summer day than a nice, loose dress. Especially when it's so hot and you can't even with anything hahaha. I've never seen Grey Gardens but I'm so intrigued now.

You know when I was a kid I used to say that when I was big, I wanted to be a dressmaker, really!
But unfortunately I don't know how to sew, but you're a real pro.
And the gardens can be the color we want !! Just use your imagination !!

I love flowy dresses paired with sneakers! Never heard of the documentary, but what I've read at Wikipedia, it sounds interesting. Need to check if I can find it somewhere. Unfortunately, documentaries are sometimes hard to find over here, especially when they aren't popular.

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders.
