Papa...paparazzi!

I'm one of those people who like celebrities on the cover of fashion magazines. However, I must admit I love seeing them more on tabloids and entertainment magazines like People, where they are seen in their day-to-day lives. As a suburban mom, I find what they wear when running around town more inspiring than an over-stylized shoot (which I also find inspiring but more in a fantastical realm).

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Oh, the hate!

I know a lot of people don't like wearing leggings as pants. I'm not one of those people. (I do have a rule that the top has to be long enough to cover your butt.
