Losing my mojo

I've been having a hard time getting motivated to post anything at all these days. I've deleted X on my phone, and am on Bluesky now, but even then, I don't really post much there. (I've stopped posting on Instagram and Facebook years ago, and don't have a TikTok/)

Even having a hard time posting consistently on my Art YouTube channel.

I do have a small Catholic YouTube channel, and another small  "fish" channel (and I use that term lightly coz I mostly post random stuff about our shubunkin goldfishes), but even then, these days, I just want to go "off the grid" :(

That is all.

Oh chingu, I totally get where you're coming from coming from. With the dumpster fire that the world is right now, it's kind of difficult to just keep posting away pretending that everything is fine. I'm still on Twitter but mostly because I'm part of a CC community there that shares valuable health information but I hardly post anymore. I mostly stay off the grid lately as well. Spend most of my time on Duolingo and organizing and selling off my stuff now. Hang in there Emmy <3

I've been thre before wanting to go "off the grid"

It's okay to take a step back and prioritize your well-being. There's no pressure to constantly create and share. Perhaps this is a time for you to recharge, explore other interests offline, or simply enjoy a quieter period.

If you eventually feel the urge to post again, it will come naturally. Don't feel obligated to force it. Your desire to disconnect might be a signal that you need to focus on yourself for a while, and that's perfectly valid.

It is understandable..but it is great that you post here with family happenings and sharing your creativity. I appreciate it so much. All the best to your holy week. Take care of you!
What a meaningful post. I completely understand what you mean. It really does feel like a struggle to get motivated lately. Maybe it is the world around us. I think it is wonderful that you deleted Twitter (I refuse to call it X haha) on your phone and have shifted away from different social media platforms. That is something I am wanting to do, but struggle with at the same time. Social media can be wonderful, but more often than not, it seems to be a destructive force. Going "off the grid" sounds so nice, especially given the realities of the world these days. It seems easier to find bits and pieces of happiness away from all of the noise. Sending you love. I hope you are able to find your motivation again, for whatever you choose to do <3

I feel you, social media is exhausting at times. I hate FB. I like IG but I do not like that it is owned by FB. I like the YT platform and long form content but I am getting ready to step away from YT. I HATE the alogrithm it is the WORST, absolutely the worst. I like TT but who knows what is going to happen with that...
