Currently loving #14

Some stuff I've been loving or have been impressed with lately....

1) House of Hades by Rick Riordan
This is the fourth book in The Heroes of Olympus series. I can't recommend Rick Riordan's work highly enough. If you love the Percy Jackson series, then this series is a must-read.

2) Pure Eyeshadow Cube
My eldest sister gave me a bunch of these shadows awhile back, and I love them. I use this shade for an everyday simple look.

 3) Laura Mercier Universal Loose Setting Powder
I got a sample of this, and as soon as I'm done with it, I'm getting the full-sized version. This powder feels sooooo good on the skin, sets the makeup well, and it doesn't break me out. Yay!

4) Knitting
I learned to knit in high school, and have been doing it on and off since. My knitting mojo has been back with a vengeance lately. I was able to give some knitted gifts away this past Christmas, and these are stuff I've done most recently for my daughter (who seems to really like them:)).
There's nothing like hand-knitted socks, y'all!

cabled scarf

5)Eucalan No Rinse Delicate Wash
I love love love this. I wish I got the big size right away. It's perfect for all your delicates, and I use it a lot for our hand-knitted items.

What have you been loving lately?

I heart Rick Riordan - this latest book is definitely on my To Read list
I love the sparkly pink of that eyeshadow and the colours in the scarf. I used to only like dark colours, but since last year I'm strangely attracted to colourful items.

Laura Mercier makes excellent beauty and cosmetic items. I tried her honey bath and creme brulee lotion. So good. So expensive! I'll have to try her cosmetic line. Yes,you can knit your ass off Emmy! AND WELL! My socks would have to be all one color and even then I wouldn't do well. LMAO I don't have a knack for it. Love those socks!

I love my Aussie set, shampoo and deep conditioner. Wanted to try them for a while now, and the shampoo smells amazing, like a candy.. I'm imagining a pink bubblegum whenever I was my hair.
