Toronto Knitter's Frolic 2014

Yesterday was the first day of the Toronto Knitter's Frolic, held at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre. To say that I was excited was a bit of an understatement. It was my first time going, and oh my! What a great event, y'all! It was awesome to see and feel the yarn from companies, big and small. All the vendors were also a pleasure to deal with. I'll definitely try to do some workshops next year as well, as they sounded pretty rad.

I went with my daughter (sons were left with the hubby), my sister-in-law and my youngest sister (who is not a knitter, but ended up enjoying the event and got a knitting kit:))

Here are some pics I took:

yarn winding station
We were both excited....heehee

Saw so many inspiring knitted pieces, both from the vendors and just people walking around

Peace out!

 My haul:
awesome Knitter's Frolic tote, child sweater kit, lots of awesome yarn goodness for shawls, Sock Rockets needle, nostepinne, shawl pin
If you get the chance to go next year, come come come! I'll see you there.:) It's a new yearly tradition for us.

I went too! And I am in love with the frolic! I clear the entire day to attend ,

In the next day or so I may start a group on ravelry for us torontonians to make our own sweaters to wear at next years frolic - similar to those that create sweaters to wear to Rhinebeck sheep and wool festival in NY!
