Currently Loving #34

A round-up of what I'm currently loving:)

1) Banila Co. Clean It Zero
I was really hesitant to try a new cleanser, as I'm pretty happy with my skincare routine right now, but when I ran out of my cleansing oil, I thought I'd give this a go.
So so happy I did! I finally get the hype over this balm cleanser. It removes makeup really well, and it doesn't break me out....woohoo! I'm a new convert.

2) Life-Changing Magic Journal
This is a basic gratitude journal (undated for a span of three years), but really, anything with Marie Kondo's name is a love for me. Marie, just shut up and take my money!

The next few products are from one of my fave stores Muji. Do you guys shop there?

3) Muji steel boxes
These things are so useful, you guys! I mainly use them for my sewing items, but these boxes are great for any kind of storage.

 What's inside:
my sewing threads, and my hand-sewing kit
4) Muji makeup sponges
These are great quality and reasonably priced.

5) Muji pens
Great quality and also reasonably priced

I'm a big fan of Craftsy and have many videos in my library, from painting to cooking and sewing/knitting. This class by Pam Howard is by far my favourite. Very thorough, and Pam Howard is a great teacher.

What have you been loving lately?

More sheet masks! I've got to pick some different ones up from Ulta to try. I love how they strip down my face - call me obsessed

You're suppose to store your sewing stuff in Danish cookie tin cans so you can severely disappoint the men that open it.

I've never heard of Muji but it looks like it has some interesting stuff.

At the moment I'm loving this sweatshirt, and would like to make it mine!

Even if something works, I can't resist trying something new Emmy. You can't help but wonder if something is BETTER! LOL Glad you tried it. I'm falling in love with Clinique's Take The Day Off. Those boxes are perfect for your hobby! They really are great for keeping everything organized, in order and undamaged. Good for you.

I'm curious about the journal! And those boxes are awesome. Are they vintage? Lately, I've been loving mint-filled dark chocolate :-) and the second hand dvd box of the OC I snatched up!
That gratitude journal sounds so wonderful! What a great idea.

Banila Co. Clean It Zero was my first cleansing balm and I liked it but decided to move on since it contains mineral oil which has potential health hazards. If you rebuy, I'd suggest the Purity version which is free of mineral oil and parabens and it works just as well. I love Muji and it's s very dangerous place for me cause I always want something whenever I step inside one of their stores. I haven't see those bin but they look super for organization. I swear by their organic cotton pads :)

Yes, the Muji boxes are perfect for storage. I have only used for grosgrain ribbons and nail varnish, lol. Never used that balm! Thanks for sharing these, Emmy. At the moment I am
using more Mario Badescu and Nuori skincare products.

That cleansing balm is in my list to buy, where do you get all your Asian beauty products, Emmy? I know you get most from the mall but do you have a trusted online site that doesn't costs an arm and leg for shipping?

God knows I need those storage boxes in my life. I was just shopping for cleansing wipes yesterday. Bought one I'm not quite happy with so I may look for this one. It sounds great.

I hear it’s healthy to change up your skin regiment, but I’m always nervous that I’m going to break out. I’ve never used a balm cleanser it's very intriguing. I want a Muji Pen.
I like boxes like that. After a few years, I love the sound they make when you open them lol

For me Muji was a stationery brand - I guess I was influenced by all of the Studygrams I'm following ;)
