The Elisalex Dress

The latest dress I've made is this dress pattern by By Hand London...a new fave. I know it seems like I say an outfit I just made is always a fave, but I do find that I improve a little bit more with each project so it becomes one I really love. But this dress, you guys....seriously a LOVE.

By Hand London Elisalex Dress
I honestly thought after the first fitting that this would be too small and would not fit, but I opted to still finish it, and what do you know? It fit perfectly after everything was done!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!

  5. I would totally wear this piece -- it fits quite nicely. And I love the progress pics. They show that the dress would also have been a really cute crop top.

  6. Such a perfect fit. I love your shoes, it matches the flame orange in your hair. Speaking of hair, did you grow it out in the 3 weeks I was gone? Beautiful!

  8. Congrats on making such a lovely dress. I love how versatile it is, you can spice it up with a biker jacket, or wear it with a cool brooch to make it into a Mad Men-Joan outfit.
