I am Canadian.

As I mentioned on my last post, this past Saturday was Canada's 150th birthday. It was a HUGE deal for us Canucks, and all over the country, numerous activities/events were held for everyone to enjoy. It was such a great day to be surrounded be our fellow Canadians and be thankful for living in this wonderful country of ours.

My kids and I decided to spend the day in downtown Toronto. First stop was the Royal Ontario Museum, which had free admission for the day.

Line up was long to get in but it was worth it:)

Ashley MacIsaac had a concert in the museum. Super cool!
Canadians  by Bryan Adams was also on display (portraits of famous Canadians by the musician/photographer)

 Shopping at Eaton Centre:
We also went to Nathan Phillips Square.

We stayed here for a bit to enjoy the free concert.

Road closures everywhere for the pedestrians to freely walk around....

The following day, my younger sister had a gathering in her house to celebrate a major health milestone, and for more Canada 150 celebration:)

Two hours of sleep for this loco...

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend:)
