What have I been watching #2

These are the ones I have enjoyed/been enjoying lately and highly recommend:)

1) Happy Death Day
Out of the all the current horror films I've seen so far , Happy Death Day was the one I've really enjoyed the most. It's pretty much the horror version of Groundhog Day. Honestly, I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. It was the right amount of suspense with a little touch of humour, and the cast was surprisingly good.
Honourable mentions: IT, Wish Upon, Annabelle Creation

2) Stranger Things 2
I have been waiting for the second season for what seems like forever, and man...did it live up to the hype! I didn't read any reviews at all before watching it, and I'm glad. I think the second season did a great job of continuing the story of the Upside Down World, and the addition of Sean Astin and Paul Reiser to the cast was awesome!

I also am now in love with King Steve:D

After watching Stranger (Secret Forest) and really loving it, I really wanted to see another Korean drama that was more or less the same genre. I heard of Tunnel through the KDrama Reddit forum and thought I'd give it a go. So glad I did.
This was another awesome series, with a unique story line. Although it deals with time-travel, I didn't find the plot line far-fetched at all, and for a crime-drama, it had a lot of tear-jerker moments. I loved this as much as I did Secret Forest.:)

Ok...this is just a fun anime, you guys! I've heard so much about this show's popularity in Japan, so I thought I'd give it a go. Well, what can I say? I'm a sucker for anything cute. :) This show is also just one of those things that make you feel good if you're having a not-so-good day. There's always an uplifting message at the end of each episode, and honestly, this is a show that I would recommend to little girls.
It's about a group of high school students who decided to form a school idol group to save their school from closing down.
I'm currently on Season 2, and it's just as fun as the first one:)

I didn't get to finish Tunnel. Perhaps I should pick it up again. I'm currently watching another one.. well I guess not really watching.. just have it on in the background and I catch bits and pieces. It's called While You Were Sleeping and it has that sci-fi fi thriller vibe. And Stranger Things 2. Eep!! We just got done with episode 5. Can't wait to finish it all this weekend. I was going to watch the X-Files again on Netflix but it's no longer streaming! Boo!

We actually haven't been watching much lately since we're trying to cut down on screen time. Honestly with how crazy the world is right now, I only want to watch happy or funny things or shows with a heart cause the horrors of real life are just too much. Maybe I need to pick up some anime again ;p
I really want to see Happy Death Day! I heard great things about it.

I was watching The Good Place on Netflix but now I'm sad as I went to watch it and realised it's on a break until January! I'm really more a comedy person - not good with scary things and dramas can bee too emotional for me sometimes!

Hope you have had a lovely week and have a great weekend ahead of you :)

So I saw Happy Death Day. It was much better than I thought it was going to be. I gotta tell ya -- I knew who the killer was immediately though, lol.

And Stranger Things 2 was fantastic. I love that they kept Steve in the show. His King Steve was a lot of fun, and I liked his hair even more.

After all the raving I finally joined the bandwagon and binged the whole season 1 last week and am working through season 2 right now.

I haven not watch any episodes of Stranger Things, I am afraid my expectations are to high, and it will not live up to it. I am currently watching the Black List (I think James Spader is brilliant), and I am re-watching Elementary.

Happy Deathday comes out in German cinemas this weekend I think, and the ads were getting me curious but I think I should wait and watch it at home to not embarrass me or being able to stop watching it when it's too much for me ;)

I haven't seen Stranger Things at all. I want to but I don't have Netflix. Booo. I have another cable company I subscribe to and am too lazy to swap over (plus I don't want to pay for two services!) But I really, really want to watch this series. Right now I started watching "Big" and has that guy from Goblin. I've been in the mood for a good laugh and this looks like it's delivering. (I also have Tunnel on my to watch list hehehe!)
