New in...ready for spring

 I try not to go shopping for clothes nowadays, but my husband saw this spring coat and he said it's so me, so who am I to argue? Bwahaha

Look how happy I was when I got the coat:D










One detail I love about this coat is that aside from the normal pockets outside, it also has inside pockets!

Oh, he does know you! LOVE this. Such a classic and with extra pockets! I just bought something on clearance to use as a pattern of a scarf I hope to make from. I am afraid I don't go much farther than JoAnn's. Of course, 5 Below is practically beside it. Hope you have a beautiful spring. We actually had thunderstorms last night. We haven't had thunder in ages.

Your hubby has a great eye! That is a beautiful coat. The colors, pattern and menswear style details are definitely you Emmy! And who doesn't love inside pockets! And you can feel good about it being an investment piece that you 'll be able to wear for year to come. I recently bought a backup pair of slim UGGs because there was a nice sale and I noticed my current pair is starting to wear down.

Oh pockets are an essential and the fact that it has extra inside pockets is awesome! It looks like such a cosy coat and will go with so many things - what a good purchase!

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Life lately- end of the school year 2023

 Soooo....the last week of school is always crazy in our household, but this year was crazier than usual coz my middle and youngest children both graduated (high school and elementary)! Wut?!?! This was the dress I wore during the tea ceremony at my wedding and it fits her now!  We also just celebrated Canada Day! Here are some pics I took over the weekend.
