Life lately- late spring 2023

 Just some stuff our family's been up to:)

My middle child just had his prom:)
My husband's relatives came from Hong Kong so we had dinner with them.

Hanging out:)

My daughter's music school had their annual summer recital:)
Our family was the first one at the venue so we got great seats....hehe....

Here's a video of her performance:) She sang A MILLION DREAMS from the movie The Greatest Showman.

There were three sessions because there were so many students, and this was my daughter's group.

Just the farmer's market here. And the children's Summer Reading Program has started at the library. I did get to work on a graphic that I hope I can wear to work..but probably on a Sunday when the director isn't there.

I finally finished Chinese Drama So It's You which was their version of Weight Lift Fairy drama. I felt I understood it more this go around. Although, there were some changes. She was in Judo instead of weight lifting. Although I love the K-drama support cast more. And I gotta say, I did grow tired of it near the end..sigh..now I have to finish up this crime drama that is more of a mini-series in 2 parts. If only I could remember the name of it.

So many lovely events. How nice for your family! Your 2nd son is looking sharp. Hope he enjoyed his prom. And your Mini Me just killed that performance. She has such a beautiful voice <3 We just had our yard sale over the weekend and I was very happy to get rid of some more clutter and we also made $90 ^o^

Emmy, your son looked so handsome for his prom. He could model. Wonderful pic of him. Your daughter sings beautifully. She has such a lovely voice. Beautiful song. I love her dress. It’s so pretty. She looks a lot like your mom. Emmy, you are just so gifted. I’ve always admired your talents. Those anatomy pics are just amazing. The definition of the muscles and such. Keep it up. Played your YouTube video. Keep making them! It’s a wonderful outlet to express your thoughts. You are not rambling etc You’re inspiring to others :) Overall beautiful post!

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Life lately- end of the school year 2023

 Soooo....the last week of school is always crazy in our household, but this year was crazier than usual coz my middle and youngest children both graduated (high school and elementary)! Wut?!?! This was the dress I wore during the tea ceremony at my wedding and it fits her now!  We also just celebrated Canada Day! Here are some pics I took over the weekend.
