Oh, these do look nice. This past weekend was quite the chill so I needed my sweaters and sweat shirts. I have to admit I loved the cozy sweatshirt I got at Target back in the fall. It is so soft, but I usually have my Hanes which can get worn out after some time.

If you see a good denim skirt on sale before your no-buy is up you should go for it. If you get a classic one, you will wear it for years. I have one with a button front that I've worn every summer for at least 12 years now. And the best part is that it's a piece that can be dress up or down. I've been obsessed with COH jeans lately since my fave pair is way too big on me now that I've lost weight.

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Life lately- end of the school year 2023

 Soooo....the last week of school is always crazy in our household, but this year was crazier than usual coz my middle and youngest children both graduated (high school and elementary)! Wut?!?! This was the dress I wore during the tea ceremony at my wedding and it fits her now!  We also just celebrated Canada Day! Here are some pics I took over the weekend.
