The black coat

 I mentioned in this post how I've been trying to revamp my wardrobe because of how much I loved Song Hye Kyo's clothes in the show The Glory (thank you to my blogger friend Rowena again for recommending this show!)

Slowly....slowly....I am trying. I will probably never get rid completely of all my colourful and worn clothes, but it's really been a game changer changing my style. 

Here's the new addition to my closet, inspired by SHK. I've been looking for a black coat for awhile and finally found it!

Zara oversized coat

LOLZ....excuse the RBF. This was me trying it in the store before buying. Was really debating as I'm trying not to spend so much, but this coat was reasonably priced, and it the last of my size! What's a girl to do?

You look great. I think I want to be all effortlessly chic but I'm not. I like colors.. I don't know if I have a very distinct style or maybe I do.

Chingu that is an awesome coat! Love the whole ensemble and how your hair coordinates with your dress ;p Hope 2026 is treating you well so far. It's been exhausting for those of us living in the US. Emmy, I'm telling you I can't wait to leave this place because the damage being done is devastating. I'm just glad we live in NY and have a new mayor who is fighting for change.

On a lighter note, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed Mercy For None. And good luck on finishing GC. Taking a pause on K-dramas and rewatching an old HK drama called A Step Into the Past that I was obsessed with back in the day and I'm obsessed all over again haha. It's like 40 eps. so it's gonna be awhile y'know.

Emmy, I just received your holiday card today. Thank you!!! I'm sure you sent it ages ago but international mail like many things here right now are an absolute dumpster fire.
And you know how much I'm not a horror fan but I totally watched Dark Nuns to support SHK. It was good and did very well at the box office because of her.

Hope you've been staying warm chingu! We're in a serious deep freeze in NYC right now and I don't think anyone can handle it because our recent winters have been relatively mild. As someone who's lived in NYC all my life, I remember the cold ones. The cold must be nothing to you living up north in Canada ;p It's been tough to cope with the news lately but I'm not going to let that silence me on SM because now is not the time to act like everything is normal. I've gone back to watching K-dramas again for the escape from reality. Currently watching Suspicious Partner and it's just what I need. Ji Chang took being so gorgeous doesn't hurt. Netflix released a small teaser for SHK and Gong Yoo's drama which is now called Tantara. Big bummer that it won't be out until Q4 of the year. Their chemistry looks so good. Btw I posted a new SHK editorial. It's gorgeous!

Oh chingu, I can't even anymore. We're barely into February and this year is exhausting me already. I dunno what it's going to take to get people to wake up. The racism is like so blatant now OMG! I wish we could move now. Sorry don't mean to be a downer. I've started re-watching Encounter to feel better because it's my comfort drama. SHK's hair IKR! My husband actually said only she can pull off that cropped style because of her tiny and beautiful face. Speaking of hair. I don't know if you had a chance to check out the preview of Tantara yet but SHK and GY were sporting similar hairstyles and when some pics from the set came out last year, people were pointing that out and laughing that it looked much better on her 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway it's still freezing. Stay warm and have a cozy weekend babes!

Losing my mojo

 I've been having a hard time getting motivated to post anything at all these days. I've deleted X on my phone, and am on Bluesky now, but even then, I don't really post much there. (I've stopped posting on Instagram and Facebook years ago, and don't have a TikTok/) Even having a hard time posting consistently on my Art YouTube channel.  I do have a small Catholic YouTube channel, and another small  "fish" channel (and I use that term lightly coz I mostly post random stuff about our shubunkin goldfishes), but even then, these days, I just want to go "off the grid" :( That is all.
