Oh, so sweet! & such a glorious meal! Oh, it was Easter Egg hunting season here. Last go around was confetti eggs which mean smashing them on each other so they could explode. This did not settle well with a certain someone when her brother's friend hit her in the back of the head. It was a flash back moment when he'd hit her with an object in the back of the head when she was almost 4. Up until then they had both promised they would marry each other when they were old enough. I don't think that will ever happen. She is even wiser now at six.
A damp and chilly Easter, but still lots of fun and strawberry goodies are still waiting. I am watching Priest's (P.S. she is not a real priest) Derailment on Viki. A very interesting time traveling story.
Looks like you guys had yourself a fun and tasty Easter chingu! We had a quiet weekend because we had just come back from a trip to DC which was marvelous.
If you've been reading my blog for the past few months, then you know my love for Alabama Chanin. Here's the newest addition to my wardrobe. :) Alabama Chanin Flora Waffle Sweatshirt, worn with North Face jacket, UNIQLO pants, and Vans sneakers The organic waffle knit fabric is naturally dyed using Sappanwood sawdust, and the foliage design is hand-painted! What I love about Alabama Chanin is that many of their pieces are one-of-a-kind. PS It was my eldest's birthday when these pics were taken:) How was your weekend? Any new purchases lately?
I've been having a hard time getting motivated to post anything at all these days. I've deleted X on my phone, and am on Bluesky now, but even then, I don't really post much there. (I've stopped posting on Instagram and Facebook years ago, and don't have a TikTok/) Even having a hard time posting consistently on my Art YouTube channel. I do have a small Catholic YouTube channel, and another small "fish" channel (and I use that term lightly coz I mostly post random stuff about our shubunkin goldfishes), but even then, these days, I just want to go "off the grid" :( That is all.
Shannon, from The Creation of Beauty Is Art , is not only an awesome beauty blogger, she is also kind enough to nominate me for the Sunshine Blogger Award! Thank you, Shannon:) Here are the questions she posted for us to answer. What is the last great book you read? The last great book I read was 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. Do you have an all time favourite lipstick shade? My fave lipstick shade of all-time is Bite Beauty's Chai. If you could meet one celebrity, who would it be and what would you say to them? If I could meet one celeb, it would be...hmmmm....probably Barack Obama. Does he count? I just wanna thank him for being such an inspiration, and maybe convince him to come back:P I'm Canadian, but I care about US politics too. What blog post of yours are you most proud of? The blog post I'm most proud of is probably this one :D Do you prefer shopping at Sephora, MAC, or the drugstore? Why? I prefer shopping...
