Oh, so sweet! & such a glorious meal! Oh, it was Easter Egg hunting season here. Last go around was confetti eggs which mean smashing them on each other so they could explode. This did not settle well with a certain someone when her brother's friend hit her in the back of the head. It was a flash back moment when he'd hit her with an object in the back of the head when she was almost 4. Up until then they had both promised they would marry each other when they were old enough. I don't think that will ever happen. She is even wiser now at six.
A damp and chilly Easter, but still lots of fun and strawberry goodies are still waiting. I am watching Priest's (P.S. she is not a real priest) Derailment on Viki. A very interesting time traveling story.
Looks like you guys had yourself a fun and tasty Easter chingu! We had a quiet weekend because we had just come back from a trip to DC which was marvelous.
Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Waiting For Rain shawl by Sylvia McFadden, worn with my old Rainbow Bar&Grill shirt and UNIQLO pants In progress: Blocking:
Soooo....the last week of school is always crazy in our household, but this year was crazier than usual coz my middle and youngest children both graduated (high school and elementary)! Wut?!?! This was the dress I wore during the tea ceremony at my wedding and it fits her now! We also just celebrated Canada Day! Here are some pics I took over the weekend. My daughter wanted to show off her custom-designed Batman shoes she made hahaha How was your weekend?
