These are the stuff I'm currently obsessing over:) 1) Raptors Fever! Even for us peeps not hardcore into basketball, the Toronto Raptors making it to the NBA Finals is being celebrated! I decided to make this dress last minute for my kids' school's Raptors Day:D using McCalls 7120 pattern made a matching kerchief for my middle child in progress 2) Aladdin Out of all the live-action movie adaptation Disney has done, this is by far my most fave. Will Smith was soooooo amazing in this film, and so was Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott as Aladdin and Jasmine. Just the perfect cast.  Naomi singing Speechless made my tear up...she has such a great voice, you guys! 3) The Judgement of Paris by Ross King This is seriously one of the best non-fiction books I've read in awhile. Even if you're not really interested in art history, this book is still a great read.  It details the rise of Impressionism in France, in particular the two diverse a

It's that time of the year again, you guys! Over the weekend, my husband's company had their work union day at the Canada's Wonderland amusement park.:) It was raining so hard the day we went that we only were able to do a few rides and ended up leaving early, but it was still great fun. Pics below:) Meal included with our ticket...yay:D

Beanie baby

Sooooo....I've always liked Zac Efron but I think I really became a fan after seeing The Greatest Showman. Being the weird person that I am, I became obsessed with having the same type of beanie he wore while on rehearsal for the film... image from traileraddict.com  ...And then, it kinda snow-balled from there and I started googling his pics in a beanie. images from justjared.com I looked for soooo long (ask my poor hubby) for the perfect one, you guys! Even though I have beanies I've knitted, I found them too hot for the warmer months.  Finally, I found one I can wear all the time (which is a story in itself but I digress)! G Star Raw Effo Long Beanie in Dark Bordeaux Do you get obsessed over the silliest things too? And more importantly, have you seen The Greatest Showman (which is seriously awesome)? :D

(I watched it on OnDemand Korea.) image from soompi.com 2) Aurora Since I ran out of Korean and Japanese horror movies to stream, I thought I'd check out other Asian films of the same genre, and found this on Netflix! It's a Filipino film, so yay because I can totally understand without having to read the closed captioning...bwahaha! This was a good one with some really scary scenes, although I did find a part of it a bit formulaic. image from imdb.com 3) Sukob This was another Filipino horror film that's on Netflix. Really liked this one too! Both the leading actresses were pretty good. image from imdb.com  4) The Third Eye This is an

"What do we say to the God of Death?" "Not today." (No spoilers here:)) Last weekend was super exciting for Game of Thrones and MCU fans like me with the Battle of Winterfell episode, and of course, the Avengers Endgame release (which is seriously THE.BEST.EVER). What I love most of about them was the strong female characters we all got to see. What an inspiration...to see great women lead and fight and just be all around bad asses:) image from imdb.com image from imdb.com image from imdb.com image from geektyrant.com Have you guys seen the movie? Are you a GoT fan?
