 We got hit with two winter storms back to back....ack! I know Canada is seen as a cold country, but we've had mild winters the past few years, so were spoiled. Mother Nature definitely reminded us that it's still winter! Just constant shovelling the past few days! The emptiest I've seen our church for a Sunday mass What it's like on the highway....eeeek! As of today, the winter storm warning is over so yay! How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

It's Victoria Day long weekend for us Canadians, so just thought I'd share some stuff I did this weekend:) Hung out downtown This pic just make me LOLZ:D Saw these!  What I've been up to lately:) 1) Eating my fave foods:D Pot belly soup noodle Tempura poké bowl 3) New phone case Got this from Flaunt and really loving it! 4) Shopping for a new tank My daughter's shubunkins are getting too big so we're looking around for bigger tanks.  5) Reading a lot I read a lot last year (about 102 books) so I'm trying to see if I can do the same this year. Honestly, though, I am aiming to read more classics this year (and also thicker books) so I will most likely not hit this number again, but I'm ok with it! My youngest had her birthday:) She really loves the show The Office, so that's the theme of her party. We all dressed up in office attire. LOLZ My younger sis made her the cake! We also did some Black Friday shopping. My husband bought me these...The NorthFace ThermoBall Traction booties. I also uploaded a new video on my art channel. How was your weekend?  It's that time of the year when the leaves start changing colour, and sweater weather is truly back:) (It's also October so that means Halloween is coming....yay!) Some stuff we've been up to lately:) 1) Shopping at flea market 2) Pumpkin season is here! 3)Our annual trip to Martyr's Shrine at Midland, Ontario happened.                 4) Finished the live action version of One Piece (Netflix) We all loved this show! 5) My latest YouTube  video talks about how being a YouTuber has helped me in my artistic journey:) 5) I've read 74 books this year so far (the most I've read in years), and my sisters and sis-in-law started a YouTube channel where we share our book club meetings.  I did a YT short talking about one of my fave books of the year:) And currently reading: Book 2 of the Crescent City series by Sarah J Maas (800 pages...lolz) How is the beginning of the fall season for you?  Soooo....the last week of school is always crazy in our household, but this year was crazier than usual coz my middle and youngest children both graduated (high school and elementary)! Wut?!?! This was the dress I wore during the tea ceremony at my wedding and it fits her now!  We also just celebrated Canada Day! Here are some pics I took over the weekend. My daughter wanted to show off her custom-designed Batman shoes she made hahaha How was your weekend?

 Just some stuff our family's been up to:) My middle child just had his prom:) My husband's relatives came from Hong Kong so we had dinner with them. Hanging out:) My daughter's music school had their annual summer recital:) Our family was the first one at the venue so we got great seats....hehe.... me, my mom, and my youngest Here's a video of her performance:) She sang A MILLION DREAMS from the movie The Greatest Showman. There were three sessions because there were so many students, and this was my daughter's group. What have you been up to lately?  Just wanna share some stuff our family has been up to:) 1) Book shopping (of course, hahaha) 2) My sons got new belts for Brazilian jiu-jitsu. 3) My family attended the ordination of the priest we got to know in our parish (Father Savio). He was the one who trained my son to be an altar server. It was such a lovely and solemn ceremony at St. Michael's Cathedral. at his reception:) Here's a short video of the world-renowned St. Michael's School's Senior Choir singing during the ceremony.  4) Mother's Day dinner:) What have you been doing lately?  I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, everyone:) Just thought I'd share here some of the highlights of the past couple of days...busy and tiring but fun, so yay. My hubby and kids did get sick, and am still suffering from a severe cold, but no COVID, so can't complain. Christmas Eve Mass Christmas Eve dinner at my mom's Christmas Day dinner at our place Boxing Day Shopping (Went to Eaton Centre with my sisters and kiddos.) at the subway station Eaton Centre Food Court shopping...mostly bought stuff for the kiddos Went to St. Lawrence Market New Year's dinner at my sister-in-law's was wearing my mask the whole time because of a cold:( (Just thought I'd include here pics taken with my daughter's Fujifilm Instax Mini she got from my eldest sis as a gift:D) My daughter took all the pics except the one of her (which I took:D) How was your holiday?
