Let's Go To The Ex

For us Canadians in Toronto, one of the signs that summer is truly ending is the start of the Canadian National Exhibition (or CNE). Beginning around the middle of August (and ending on Labour Day), the Ex is one of those things that our whole family looks forward to attending every year (see blog here for last year's trip). Yesterday, we were able to do so, and thought I'd share some pics:)

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders.
