Blanketed

Our city was hit by a huge snow storm yesterday, and let me tell you, I did not like it. Not one little bit. Too much shovelling, and driving on a lot of snow is never fun. The kids, however, had a blast!

 I know some of you are thinking, "Well, you ARE in Canada." I will tell you now, there's nothing we Canucks like more than freak out about 25 cm of snow...well, maybe just me....


I made the boys stay home, even though it wasn't technically snow day. The schools were open, y'all! Cray cray!

Anyhoo, hope you're all having a warm and cozy Saturday, wherever you are:) Our family is celebrating Chinese New Year this weekend! (Hubby is of Chinese-descent.) Woohoo! Kung Hay Fat Choy, peeps!

I remember the days of living in the mid-Atlanta region and experiencing large snow falls. The snow is just beautiful until you have to drive in it.

Wow, that is a LOT OF SNOW!! I have to tell you, as pretty as the snow is, the only time I miss it is at xmas time because I think there is something really special about a white xmas. Other than that, don't like it all all. Your kids are having way too much fun though and are making me realize that I'm going to have to suffer for the sake of childhood fun once I kids! :) hhehe! It's just way too cute seeing them play in it!

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
