Look at the back!

These pants look really plain in the front...
Topshop top, super old Gap pants, Vans slip ons

...but check out the back of the right leg!
I just love little details like this.
On the crafting front, making stuff for myself has taken a back seat as I make Christmas outfits for the kids. So far, I have this shirt done. Let's just say I'm a bit behind schedule...ahem....

This is the first tailored shirt I've done, and man, talk about ambitious. This was really beyond my skills set, but I really wanted to learn how to make it, so I persevered. Blood and tears, let me tellz yah...but it's done, so I'm happy:D

Are you all set for the holidays?

Great job on the shirt! Love the embroidered details on the pants. I remember when those came out, I think Express used to have them too. I'm pretty much finished with Christmas shopping, thank goodness! :) Happy Monday! x
That is such a fun detail! Love a party in the back :) You did a fantastic job on your son's shirt!

I used to have a pair of jeans with a surprise detail like that. I loved them. My best friend hated them and she only old me a few weeks ago how much she hated those pants, hahaha.

You are doing so good with the sewing Emmy; the floral detail at the back of the pants is a nice surprise.
