Currently Loving #28

Not too many today, but man....this set is pretty special because I'll be loving these for awhile...hehe....

1) Song Joong Ki
I blame Rowena for this obsession. She first posted about him here. Rowena then blogged about  the Korean show he's in called Descendants of the Sun and why she loves the show, so I clicked on the viki link she posted to watch the first episode, and I'm hooked! (The episodes are sub-titled.) SJK's Captain Yoo character is very swoon-worthy, and he's not too bad in the eyes either...ahem... And Rowena, you were right! Once you hear him talk, that's pretty much it.  (Can I just say how much I squeed at Episode 9?!? I got all the feels for that episode:D I've seen up to episode 10 as of writing this.)

(PS If you've read The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, he is pretty much who I have in mind for Prince Kai... sigh....)

2) NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint
I've always loved NARS colour products but have never tried the foundations, so when I was at Sephora, I thought I'd give this one a go. I've always loved anything matte for the skin, and am so glad I tried this one out. I love the texture and coverage.

I apply the NARS Velvet Matte Skin Ting with the Beauty Blender.

3) Raskog Utility Cart from Ikea
I've seen this in so many crafting blogs and have wanted one for a long time for my sewing space. My husband finally got it for me, and this is such a great addition to the room for sure. It makes everything within reach, and just the right height for when I'm sitting in front of my sewing machine.

What have you been loving lately? Have you guys seen Descendants of the Sun?

I stopped watching Descendants of the Sun but I am curious how the story will end. I used to like him in other dramas and then I saw him on a variety show and the liking stopped lol. And that cart looks so useful and convenient! I need a trip out to IKEA soon.

Hello darling Emmy! Lately I'm loving a hilarious tv series called Jane the Virgin, the new sculpting palette by L'Oreal and my brushes for dry body brushing! Much love hun!
I've been meaning to watch Descendants of the Sun! It sounds awesome :)

Haha glad to hear you're still enjoying DOTS. I know what you mean... ep. 9 gave me all the feels as well. I just finished it yesterday and and I'm already getting withdrawal symptoms. You know what's cool about SJK? He's probably the most famous celeb in Korea right now and he hasn't let it get to his head at all. I think he has never looked as good as he does as YSJ.

I've only tried Nars foundation once, and loved it, but have not tried that one in the tube. Wow, I reckon I should probably watch Descendants of The Sun now, since two of my close friends are totally hooked currently. :) Wishing you a great weekend Em. <3

I am brand new to nars foundation and I have to say I'm in love with it. Wonder what I've been thinking clogging my pores with mac all these years. The show sounds amazing. The cart too but I won't know where to put it without it being a trip hazard.

I've recently bought a beauty blender! OMG! It's perfect! I'm kind of not using much makeup lately, I'm trying to perfect some "no makeup" makeup routine and add up some eye liner (let's not get into this panda discussions right now.. :D), but the way the beauty blender works that stuff into the skin.. it really is worth all the hype!
