They're here!

Many of us Torontonians are super excited that Nordstrom and Uniqlo have finally arrived at the downtown Eaton Centre. It's about time!

Nordstrom opened on Sept 16th, and Uniqlo on Sept. 30. Hubby and I had the chance to go this past weekend. It was crazy and packed even though we came early. To be expected, I guess.

Anyhoo, here are some shots I took, which include my favourite pieces and some inspirational stuff for future outfits/makes:D

What I wore:

I'm so jealous! We don't have Uniqlo in Ireland but I always go when I'm in London - and they do deliver here, but it's not quite the same.

New places to shop! How exciting! I'm a fan of Uniqlo's heat tech wear. We were just at the one by us the other weekend to get my husband a pair slim joggers and they had a great range of styles of them. I have him rocking athleisure chic now ;p Happy shopping and happy new week Emmy!

Emmy, your life will never be the same girl! I LOVE Nordstrom! We don't have a store here, but I give their online website hell. LOL They have everything and don't talk about the coolest shoes! You will love. I can't wait to get back to Cincinnati because there's a Nordstrom there I love to go to. Thanks for showing us the 2 new stores. They look wonderful. You made some very nice purchases. We don't have a Uniqlo.

We have a Nordstrom the next city over but I've never been nor has Daisy I don't think. I've heard of it but never noticed much about them.

I love Uniqlo! My jeans from it is still one of my favourites until today! Now Nordstrom on the other hand...well, I will stick to ONLY window shopping there. :-P

So happy that you're finally getting these flagship stores. I like Uniqlo for their soft fabrics and Nordstrom has practically everything! FYI -- your Zara coat is on point.

It would have been fun to visit those stores! We just got a Uniqlo in Brisbane recently, I had a bti of a browse but it's all very wintery. We were having an autumn heatwave and it was impossible to look at thermal things for too long, ha! I should go back now we are in spring and see if they have some more weather-appropriate things! :)

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
