Filling in the gap
I decided to knit this Cowichan-inspired vest because I've been really interested in the Coast Salish knitting tradition since attending Sylvia Olsen's class last year. I finished this vest just in time too, coz winter has arrived here...snow and all!
Vest pattern: Tokul by Andrea Rangel
(Don't worry. The little one and I were outside for only a really short minute.)
Tokul vest worn with an old dress I sewed using McCalls 6886, no-name leggings and Ugg Australia boots |
What I love about this type of knitting is that the inside is as great as the outside (IMO).
Is it sweater weather where you are?

it became winter jacket, hat and gloves weather here over the weekend.. brr
Oh I'm so glad you're liking City Hall so far. That was actually one of the few dramas I've ever marathoned. the chemistry between Kim Sun Ah and Cha Seung Won is no joke and they really brought out the best in each other. I also liked the atypical storyline. Enjoy! Enjoy! Nope not gonna watch Goblin. Can't say the plot line appeals to me and neither does the female cast. No interest in Legend of the Blue Sea either. I didn't even watch The K2 and I adore Ji Chang Wook so definitely not gonna watch anything with Lee Min Ho. from what I've read the drama borrows heavily from other works and he's playing the same damn character yet again. If you watch either, lemme know what you think. We're watching My Wife's Having an Affair this Week and it's actually quite good.

Hopefully it keeps you warm! No snow here, but the air con is on so it's kind of cool, haha! Going to be a hot summer I think.
Hope you're having a really good start to the week :)
