Nostalgic

My mom will be moving soon so I've been helping her pack. Aside from discovering many gems from our childhood that she's kept, she's also decided to give away some clothes. One of the items I asked for is this sweater.

This was an old sweater my father, who passed away in 2006, wore a lot.

And also....another thing I'd like to share, coz why not?
:)

That's cool that you are wearing one of your Dad's jumpers. Your daughter loves to photobomb you doesn't she? Haha.

What a cosy looking knit! The colour is also a great bold one too. It's always nice to rediscover great finds, and old memories. Happy Monday! I'll be back later this week! x/M

I love that you kept the sweater. My father passed away when I was 16 and I kept all of his ties.

I would have totally kept the jumper too, it's nostalgic and reminds you of your dad so why not. And you look good in it!

Emmy, my father passed in 2007. That sweater looks so good on you and I love the color. It was meant for you. I hope your mom is not going too far! It's hard when family lives a considerable distance. My aunt lived in the north and we lived in the south and I always wished we were closer. Such a cute picture!

That is a sweet treasure to have. My dad wore Hawaiian shirts a lot, so I had one made into a pillow.

The sweater looks beautiful on you. I'm all about keeping special pieces from family and actually -using- them instead of just letting them languish.

This is such a sweet memory of dad. This sweater must have such sentimental value. I love it on you. Now I want to know why the focus was not on my little photo bomber. LOL. You look beautiful as always!

That must be nice to wear one of your dad's sweaters :) It looks really good on you too! My older brother passed away in 2008 when he was just 17, and I love to snuggle up on the couch in one of his sweaters. It always makes me feel comfy to have something near that belonged to him :)

I have (and sometimes wear) a polo sweater that my dad used to wear back in the 60's!
Love this! My dad also passed several years ago and I have a few of his sweaters! I feel extra cozy when I wear them.
