The fashion world mourned the recent death of the awesome designer Azzedine Alaia. He was one of the designers I've really admired, and a true visionary like Rei Kawakubo and Vivienne Westwood.
RIP

I recognise the name of Azzedine Alaia but I can't think of any particular pieces, so I'm not sure where I know his work from. Regardless, it's always sad to lose someone, especially with such talent.

Hope you are having a good weekend :) I made the most of some time off earlier this week and shopped at a few stores but I haven't bought anything in the sales yet.

Whenever I hear that fashion designer's name, I always think of that one scene in Clueless. It's an Alaia!

I am not familiar with Azzedine Alaia but have read about his passing. :-( How are you doing, Emmy? It's been a long time since I hopped over here and I hope all is well. xx
