Product Rave: new Holy Grail

Guys, I've raved about RCMA foundation for forever. Since going to makeup school, this foundation has always been the one I always turn to, not just when I was working as a makeup artist but also for personal use. It's a full-coverage foundation (my preference), but you can easily thin it down. It will always be my #1.

Alas, I can only get it in one store in Toronto (Hiscott's, which unfortunately is not downtown anymore so kinda hard for me to go to) or online, which can be a pain.

I've been trying to find something similar to it that I can easily get. I do love MAC foundations, but unfortunately, the service I've gotten from them have been lacklustre.  I've tried a few other foundations, but they either broke me out or I didn't like the texture, or they're just too darn expensive (I'm looking at you, Tom Ford!).

At last, however, I think I found the ONE.

My new holy grail foundation: Make Up Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation
It has the coverage I want, does not break me out, and still relatively affordable. Not cheap, but at least not over $100....

MUFE, please don't stop making this or re-formulate it. It's perfect the way it is.

Y375 is almost a perfect match to RCMA's Shinto 2 shade.

What is your Holy Grail product?

I could not tell you what Daisy uses, I don't think it look like that kind of container though

Yay to finding a new HG foundation. I've been skipping foundation and going back to CC and BB creams lately. I've been reaching for CLE Cosmetics CCC Cream SPF 45 the most.

I still think GP and Goop are pretentious AF but I do appreciate her advocacy for wellness and self care.

I've heard a lot about this brand and always positive things too. I've had trouble my whole life with foundations (MAC has to be the absolute worst one I ever tried) until I discovered NARS over ten years (eeeek TEN?) ago now. I haven't bothered with any other brand because it's always been perfect for my skin.

Glad you found a new perfect foundation! I have the biggest struggles with makeup - I get so annoyed when something runs out and I go to replace it to find out that it's been discontinued. Given how rarely I wear or replace makeup this happens a lot, haha!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend! We've put our Christmas tree up and gone to a few Christmas events this weekend. So far, it's been a good one and the predicted wild weather hasn't hit yet which is nice!

I don't have this but you just reminded me of my MUFE HD liquid foundation! I need to dig it up and use it again.

Emmy, I am so glad you found a foundation that worked for you. I'm using Too Faced Born This Way, but I will be trying other options next year.
