Skirting around

We went this weekend to Midland, Ontario for our annual pilgrimage to the Martyr's Shrine. Not really the most appropriate place for a "photo shoot" but it was lovely and quiet the day we went, and I thought it would be a nice change of scene:)

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. I know a lot of people don't like wearing leggings as pants. I'm not one of those people. (I do have a rule that the top has to be long enough to cover your butt.
