Vertical velocity

This is one of the dresses I sewed that I don't get to wear often but really love. Cocoon dresses are just so versatile, and can be worn in any occasion. The striped fabric is also always a win for me, plus pockets:D

Dress I sewed using Vogue Patterns 1496, Blondo boots

I'm not too fond of tights but I like fishnet stockings:D

I wore the dress during my youngest's birthday celebration:)

Speaking of...the latest knitted garment I've made is for her....a Marius sweater (using this pattern.) I really love knitting Norwegian patterns lately.

happy birthday to your daughter!

I like your striped dress - stripes are always a winner and even better that it has pockets! i guess that's the advantage of being talented enough to make your own clothes like you are, you can add all the pockets, haha!

Hope that you had a wonderful weekend! I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :)

Looove those tights. Also, so much snow already???
Where to even begin?? Your hair looks amazing, those tights are fantastic, and that dress is gorgeous! You have such talent with your sewing and knitting... And you also have a keen eye for fashion. I always love seeing the outfits you put together. You are such an inspiration!

What a fun pattern and silhouette! I love the styling with the fishnets and boots too! I'm the opposite. I like tights but hate fishnets because they feel too holey to me ;p And Mini Me's sweater is totes fabulous!

Love the fishnets, one of my favourite ways to add detail and "texture" to outfits
