Inspiration: Costumes of The Golden Compass

I've seen The Golden Compass a few times awhile back, but it was just a few days ago that I watched it with my daughter. I did not realize before how beautiful the costumes were on this movie. The costume designer Ruth Myers did such a phenomenal job in not only capturing the characters' qualities through their wardrobe, but also in just how truly beautiful the pieces are.

Oh my goodness! I actually haven't seen this movie before but I have to say, the costumes are incredible. I love that first outfit. How stunning!

We watched this movie a long time ago and I think we may need to give it another run so that I can appreciate the beautiful costumes. They really are stunning! Costumes are one component that can really enhance the impact of a film.

I haven't seen this movie but you're right, those costumes are so dreamlike and magical. Costume designers have to be some of the most underrated and overlooked part of crew. We need to spotlight and celebrate these incredibly talented individuals

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
