Kung Hei Fat Choi 2021

Definitely a different experience this year.

Although my in-laws are technically a part of our circle, Toronto can't have any private indoor gathering, so we dropped by their house to greet each other, pick up our red pockets, and...well, that's about it. No eating together or anything like that. Hopefully, next year, things will be back to normal.

(Honestly, though, we are so used to it by now, so no biggie.)

And took some random pics in our church parking lot during the weekend. LOLZ.

Seriously though... we are lucky that our church  (and parish priest )is able to hold masses for 8 people at a time (booked by appointment) and thank the Lord we've been able to go the past few weeks.

How was your Valentine's Day? And did you celebrate the Lunar New Year?

Happy new year Emmy! it's sad you couldn't celebrate together but so nice you could visit at least!

Hope you had a good weekend and that your week is off to a nice start :)

Oh, a sad celebration but I am so glad you got to see each other for a few minutes. Hope the cold isn't too bitter. We really have been blasted with the cold and snow this weekend. A great time to stay indoors. Great Monday post!

Happy Valentine's Day and New Year! I am so sorry that you could not enjoy your usual festivities how you would have liked, but glad that you all are safe and healthy. Smiles all around any way, I see!!

The kids are so tall and growing....where does the time go!

Our day yesterday was lazy, filled with online church, EPL soccer, chocolate, pizza and netflix. LOLZ

I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day
I am so sorry. The hardest part about lockdowns and the pandemic has to be those missed experiences. I am glad that you were able to do a porch visit at least! Here is hoping that things continue to improve and no more holidays are missed <3
the creation of beauty is art.
Happy new year and gong hei fat choi to you and your family Emmy <3 The pandemic has definitely changed the way we celebrate holidays for now. It's nice that you were still able to visit your in-laws. Gosh your mini me looks like she's going to be taller than you soon ;p
