Some handmade stuff for the holidays

I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday/winter break so far.

Just thought I'd share some stuff I made for family members for our Christmas celebration:)

1) Made two quilts for my sisters:)

The Minion one is a lap quilt size for my older sis, and the smaller one is a doggie quilt for my younger sis who just got a puppy:)

The recipients:D

2) Quilted mug rugs
These are great for the coffee/tea drinkers in your life, and quite quick to make!

Did you guys get any handmade stuff for the holidays? Do you like receiving handmade goods?

Adoring! Such beautiful work and cheerful gifts! Oh, I did get my market bags to some co-workers and family too. I think my co-workers appreciated them the most. One co-worker surprised me with a mug she customized with the library makerspace of my dog. It has to be my favorite present.

Have you started Happiness yet on VIKI? I think you'd like it. Its quite the interesting "virus" type of story. Very intriguing! It's a K-drama with Park Hyung Sik.

Happy Holidays! All the best to your creativity and with your friends and family!

It's so good to hear from you, and I know what you mean about the handmade stuff. I actually set down and just made myself a hat. Although, I was shocked how the Children's department loved their hats. The assistant wore her's all day at work (almost got in trouble because she forgot she even had it on) and the other hat was very last minute, but then she said, 'How did you know? this matches my coat beautifully'.

I do have a few projects I want to get too..but I'd rather be writing. Thanks again! All the best to a fabulous new year!
Gosh Emmy your family is seriously lucky to have someone so talented and good at making things. Those custom quilts look really fun and cool! I didn't receive any hand made gifts this year but I did send out a few framed affirmations that I hand lettered.

Hope you and the family had a warm and wonderful Christmas! Do continue to stay safe and healthy! That Omicron is no joke.

Those quilts are beautiful! What nice gifts you made! :) I don't have any creative talent at all to make things but my sister often makes candles which I love receiving and my mum always bakes lots of yummy goodies for Christmas that I love getting too!

Hope that you had a magical Christmas :)

Looks truly pretty ❤
Handmade goods are extra special, because it took someone's time and energy. I have your origami, perched in my makeup room. It makes me smile every time I look at it. Love the quilts you made for your sisters! They are going to enjoy them. Congratulations to your sister on her new puppy.
