Already torn

 Will I ever get tired of wearing these jeans I've had for forever? No....not at all...

I remember wearing these jeans a lot when I was a volunteer at my kids' school. One of the moms there (who actually became a good friend but sadly passed away from cancer)  thought I was in dire need of money.  #TrueStory

Are you a fan of the distressed look in fashion? It comes and goes, like any trend, but it's something I will always gravitate to.

We do have our favorite things. I remember a pair I had just got more and more comfortable each year I wore them. Yes, I do love the distressed jeans ❤️ And yes, I keep clothing for a very long time too. Great look!

I love the distressed look on others but feel I don't have the cool factor to pull it off as well as you and everyone else does! :)

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend to cancer though, but it's fun these jeans remind you of her :)

I absolutely love the jeans. They look amazing! I have always been partial to the distressed look (I used to watch Blossom a lot when I was a kid and was obsessed with Joey Lawrence and his distressed jeans) and whether it is trendy or not at any given time...they look fantastic on you and should be worn always! <3

Cool jeans! You totally rock them Emmy! I used to be so into the distressed look back in college but I'm in a different place with how I dress now so it's not really my thing anymore. My mom was always like why you do like clothes with holes back then LOL ;p

I can't believe she thought you needed money! That is too funny! I love my torn jeans so much and I don't wear them as much because they are incredibly torn and my grandma is always on my case about them lol. You can't beat a favorite piece of clothing with a story. That's a great and bittersweet memory about your friend thinking that your ripped jeans meant you needed money. Now you absolutely have to keep them. Also, they look pretty rad. :)

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
