The Last of Us

 If you guys watch my YouTube videos, then this is not news...COVID has finally entered our house.

As of right now, everyone except for moi has tested positive.

It started off with my two older boys.

We thought we had a pretty good system in terms of isolation, but then, my youngest and husband tested positive over the weekend.

And now...it's just me....



I will update here if/when I do get it...wish me luck!

Update May 4/2022- Finally tested positive today:(

Oh, I hope the kids and the hubby are doing OK..and you too! Yes, it would be like this. I am in fear I won't get this next booster in time. Especially, when more people want me to work for them while on vacation. Thanks for the update. Stay strong!

I really love the ALICE PAINTING. Thanks so much for showing how it was developed. So great you are doing these great creative adventures..All I have done of late (other than writing) is learning the grannysquare stripe. I have made 2 hats I can wear so far..one..um, I don't even think a friendly dog would want to chew up. All the best to your health and creativity! You are so inspiring. Recently, at the library I went to a yoga thing for rest. At the end we did a watercolor. It was really fun. I hope to do more watercolors.

Oh no Emmy! I really hope that your husband's and kid's symptoms aren't too serious and that they will recover quickly. It seems like Covid is getting increasingly hard to avoid in school these days esp. with mask mandates being lifted. Do take extra good care of yourself and stay well chingu <3 I'm loving the large scale pieces you've been painting lately.

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders.
