Another basic outfit...shirt, jeans and my beloved Vans. TBH, I love summer but outfit-wise, it's probably the worst for me just because I get lazy...LOL
I definitely go on the cheap, but I love the Daria Tee I found at Five Below last week. I like my squishy slides too! Although, working at the library I feel I have to be ready for the nunnery. Our director is on sick leave, but still I can't play around as much as I would like. Hope you guys are all being creative in your own ways.
You all are looking so cool! Happy Back to School shopping!
Oh I love the patchwork jeans! They are so cool and so you Emmy! You're not the only only one who gets lazy during the summer. I'm the same way and have been living in the same two dresses and tanks and skirts for most of the season. When it's so hot, it just easier to have some foolproof outfits you can just throw on without thinking too much about it.

Love seeing pics of you and your family out and about :) I like your casual style too, I feel I am living in jeans at the moment too with it being winter - they are a winter staple for me! :)
Emmy, your outfits are anything but basic girl! I always love the hair. I think this is the longest I’ve ever seen it. I always love the mix of colors. So cool.
Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Waiting For Rain shawl by Sylvia McFadden, worn with my old Rainbow Bar&Grill shirt and UNIQLO pants In progress: Blocking:
Soooo....the last week of school is always crazy in our household, but this year was crazier than usual coz my middle and youngest children both graduated (high school and elementary)! Wut?!?! This was the dress I wore during the tea ceremony at my wedding and it fits her now! We also just celebrated Canada Day! Here are some pics I took over the weekend. My daughter wanted to show off her custom-designed Batman shoes she made hahaha How was your weekend?
