Life Lately- Christmas/New Year 2023 (Picture-Heavy)

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, everyone:)

Just thought I'd share here some of the highlights of the past couple of days...busy and tiring but fun, so yay.

My hubby and kids did get sick, and am still suffering from a severe cold, but no COVID, so can't complain.

Christmas Eve Mass

Christmas Eve dinner at my mom's

Christmas Day dinner at our place

Boxing Day Shopping (Went to Eaton Centre with my sisters and kiddos.)
at the subway station

Eaton Centre Food Court

shopping...mostly bought stuff for the kiddos

Went to St. Lawrence Market

New Year's dinner at my sister-in-law's

was wearing my mask the whole time because of a cold:(

(Just thought I'd include here pics taken with my daughter's Fujifilm Instax Mini she got from my eldest sis as a gift:D)
My daughter took all the pics except the one of her (which I took:D)

How was your holiday? Do tell!

Oh, how wonderful! Your pictures made me smile. I'm so glad you were able to do lots of fun things with your loved ones. Boxing Day shopping must have been very busy! I love the boots you wore that day. They are fabulous. The Fujifilm Instax Mini takes really cool pictures. What a blast from the past! I hope 2023 will be a fantastic year for you <3

Looks like you guys had some lovely celebrations. Sorry to hear about hubby and kids getting sick but good thing it's not COVID. Hope they'll all get better soon. Our holidays were quiet and we managed to get some projects done around the house. Happy new year to you and your family dear Emmy! Wishing you all much happiness, good health and good fortune. Be safe and be well <3

It's good you were able to still meet with family and attend events despite being unwell - it's great it wasn't covid! We've had so many coughs and colds going around this month too, always just lucky it's not covid!

So nice you have a lot of photos to look back on too.

Hope you have a great start to the new year!

Oh, such great food and fun with family! Love these! I hope you are better now. I had a bit of a cough before Christmas, but I am better now too. It was so cold those days when I wanted to do last minute shopping, but then didn't. So I ended up giving some New Year's presents instead when it warmed up. We did have our little something Christmas Eve morning. We had to wait on some because they were doing some last minute baking in an oven they'd never used before. But we did have lots of fun and laughter. LOVE LOVE..your daughter's new camera!

Happy New Year! All the best to all your creativity. I am trying to crochet up some scarves. And of course, trying to finish up the High Kick series too.

It looks like y'all had a lovely Christmas! Happy new year to you and yours!
Happy New Year Emmy! My stomach is rumbling from all the foodie pics from your family’s holiday gatherings. Everything looks so delicious! You guys know how to have a good time! So glad you had a wonderful holiday. Sorry you were sick. Those things happen at the worst times. The church you attend is so pretty. I’ve always loved the Christmas decor inside churches during the holidays. Your daughter is quite the photographer. Love the side eye she’s giving your son in the chess game. HaHaHa
