New in...coz I can't buy anything else:D

In the beginning of the year, I said that I'm on a "no buy" in terms of clothes and shoes. This means that I now have more money to buy other stuff, like books! LOLZ

Oh, what a sweet stack of books! Go you! I finally found Stars of Chaos by Priest in English. I was hoping to find Silent Reading a modern tale by Priest but that would probably be in Chinese. Even then China might have censored it since it is a BL novel. The C-drama version is Dark Justice and it starred two of my favorite Chinese actors. I think there are a total of 30 episodes, but after 8 episodes China put a lid on it. Although, I don't think of Priest as your typical BL author. Her work has made plenty of interesting stories and characters in the C-drama world. And the Stars of Chaos certainly has some wonderful characters on their journey in this Wuxia series that I just can't put down.

I also found the C-Drama Provoke (on Prime-25 very short episodes) that I have been waiting to watch. I admire the screenplay and it is a beautiful production during that new era of Shanghai where East meets West with gangsters yet concubines still exist too. It is actually a REVENGE story.

The only other thing I have bought lately was a deal on the petite paramedic Barbie. Evidently, Mattel doesn't think anyone would get it out of the box. This one had a big bald spot on the part of her hair.

Everything is so expensive these days. It is hard to get your money's worth sometimes.

That's a really nice haul chingu! It's fantastic that you've been able to read so much and nurture your love for books. I've actually been selling off some of my books because I'm actively dedicated to minimalism. The last things I bought were some sheet masks, magnesium oil, a bra and some socks for the hubs ;p Very practical stuff LOL

I absolutely love this rationale! Less money on clothes and shoes equals more money for books! What could be better? What a fantastic book haul as well. I've read a few Stephen King books, but not a whole lot of them, but I want to change this. I hope Holly is good!

Amazing, I am reading most of my books online now but nothing like real books where you can smell the pages and enjoy every bit of it. Happy Easter and love the video too.

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
