Summer 2024 Wishlist

 Even though I still can't buy anything (due to my self-imposed ban of not buying any new clothes and shows from January to June), I can still wish for stuff, right? Hahahaha

1) Eclisse Dress by Sea

I am currently hand-sewing an Alabama Chanin corset (similar to this) that would look so good with this skirt. Aaaah!

These do look to be amazing pieces for your wardrobe. Do you do a lot of upcycling from your closet? I used to, but not as much anymore. I am one of those who can be more impressed with how something was designed in a dress I saw from a drama than the actual performance, sometimes. Of course, that kind of project might take weeks to complete. At the moment though, I have what I guess is going around...but I don't think it's a sinus infection or Covid..but still a bad cough that keeps me up at night.

I have been enjoying Sword and Fairy 1 at the moment. Happy June!

That pretty dress is totally boho chic! It would look fab on you chingu! I almost exclusively wear CIH jeans but personally I think that silhouette is difficult to wear and will most likely be out of style quickly. Maybe I'm an oddball but I'm very strict about my fits because I always want my outfits to play up my best features and make me look as tall and thin as possible haha ;p It must work cause people always guess my weight to be a lot less than what it actually is.

Yes you can wish for things and you can do you're research for when you are off your no buy ban LOL. I was on a no buy ban until my niece was in town from Paris and we spent one day whole day shopping and I shopped all second hand so that was great!

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
