BB Creams
I've always wanted to try Beauty Balm creams since hearing about them from other blogs. As someone with not-so-great skin, I'm always on the lookout for something that would help my complexion look better. This is the one I really want to try:
However, at $50 Cdn, I am really hesitant. Then, I saw this great post from Elle Sees about the Garnier BB Cream, and I thought, yay. The price point was just right. When I found the product on our local Shoppers Drug Mart, I was really excited. Plus, it was on sale! Of course, I had to get it.
The first time I used it, I used the Beauty Blender sponge and stippled it on, but I really wanted a heavier coverage (because I wanted to use it as a foundation), so I ended up using my fingers in the end. This is the best way, IMO, to apply it.
It applies like a tinted moisturizer so it's perfect for the summer when you want that light coverage. It's also perfect as a makeup primer.
All in all, I really like it and would not hesitate to buy it again (especially if on sale...bwahaha). I don't know yet if I can highly recommend it, though, as I've only used it a few times myself. One warning though (as Elle pointed out) is that it does a scent which I usually don't like on skin products. Other than that, I really do like it.
Have you guys tried any other BB creams that you can recommend? Has anyone tried Elemong? Thoughts?
Anyhoo, Happy Friday:)
