Game of Thrones:The Toronto Exhibition

My husband and I had the chance to attend the Game of Thrones exhibit at the Design Exchange on Bay St. If you're a fan of the TV show (or George R.R. Martin's book series), this is a must-see. Along with the being able to see the costumes and props used, there is also the interactive "Blackwater Bay" game where you get the chance to shoot flaming arrows. You also get the opportunity to sit on the Iron Throne. How awesome, right?

Here are some pictures taken with my phone, because of course, I forgot my camera. Not smart, I am....
The first thing you see

The House Stark costumes

The House Lannister costumes

Daenerys Targaryen's costumes

the dragon eggs!

Jon Snow's costume...sigh....

The closest I'll get to hanging out with Tyrion Lannister

shooting my flaming arrows!

the Iron Throne
The staff takes an official pic, then e-mail it to you:) I picked the House Lannister for my banner...hehe....

The third season begins March 31st on HBO, and if you're in Canada, Showcase just started showing the first season. Yay!

Aside from Toronto (last day is March 16th), the other cities included in the exhibition tour are: New York City, Sao Paulo, Amsterdam and Belfast. Anyone planning to attend one of these shows? Are you a fan?

Damn you, Emmy! :) This doesn't come to my town, but I wish it did. You look great shooting your flaming arrow. Wouldn't this day had been perfect if you were able to meet Jon Snow? Swoon.

Can't wait for GOT to come back this month!

Emmy, I've never seen this, but people seem to be obsessed!! I know if you like it, then it's worth checking out because we seem to have similar taste in books/movies! Now that Pretty Little Liars season is coming to an end tomorrow, I might have to start renting this! :)
