Distraction (at the Toronto Premium Outlets)

My husband was kind enough to take the week off, as it's the first week of school for the kiddos. To distract me from the mild depression I was feeling that our youngest was now off to school, he took me to the Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills, which just opened recently. We used to cross the border to New York to shop at the Buffalo one, but not anymore:)

By the way, thank you to those who asked how the little one's first day was:D She had a blast, and I was a blubbering idiot. She did cry a little bit yesterday (her second day), but all in all, the first week went well, even for the boys. Fingers crossed this school year will be smooth-sailing....
The little one on her way to class...sniff sniff.....

Some pics taken at the outlet mall:

Hot Topic....weeeeeeee! (Yeah....I'm pretty easy to please.)

I love the fact that the security guard is in a Segway scooter....is it Paul Blart?

My husband in the Swiss Army Victorinox store, which he's obsessed with.
Who doesn't like shopping in an outlet mall, right? :) Anyhoo, wishing you all a fab weekend!

she looks so happy with her dora bookbag

I don't ever remembering having a bookbag for kindergarten though. I guess her school actually teaches them something there.

My kindergarten was basically recess all day.

I know another one passionate by army stuff, in fact we just came back home after a trip to the official military division where hubby served long ago, but I was refused entry, when they saw from passport I'm not Finnish citizen, so we'll have to wait for 2-3 more years until I get the Finnish citizenship (that is, if I bother to learn Finnish or Swedish).. your little one is adorable and you look gorgeous!

Your little one looks so adorable and you look cute too! Did you find some good deals? I am finding that these days, outlets are not always the best places to get deals. Sometimes I actually find better deals in the mall during a sale if you can believe that, LOL, but I still love going to outlets:-)

Awww! Well, your daughter is pretty much the cutest thing ever and at least she looks excited and adorable on her first day! I'm glad your kids had a great first week! And you're not alone, my parents said they cried quite a bit when my sister and I went off to kindergarten.

omg. your daughter with her dora bag is so adorable. her smile could seriously light up a city. and how sweet of your husband! must've been such a blast at the outlet! i love your shirt btw. i absolutely love that style!
Emmy, those outlet stores look really nice. I love the layout! So easy to get to. With ours, you have to go in and out of each store (from the outside). Makes it a pain with parking and such. HAHAHA Shopping is definitely a pleasant distraction.
Awww, glad she is adjusting. Such a doll baby.
