Ambivalence

I wore this dress for our family Thanksgiving lunch. It's one of those purchases in which I felt like the dress was great the first time I tried it on, but now, not so sure. I'm hoping it'll grow on me.
Danier jacket, Phillip Lim for Target dress, Topshop shoes

Roasted butternut squash soup I made for the lunch

Have you ever had a purchase whereby you're not too sure if you like it or not?

Emmy, that print looks beautiful on you doll. It blends in so well with your complexion and hair. Yeah, I've second guessed things. HaHaHa If it doesn't grow on my fast I get rid of it. Girl, you can cook! That butternut squash soup looks awesome.

A purchase? Lots of them! It's like they're amazing in the shop and then when I get home there's no sparkle anymore.. I'm now trying to buy only things that I'm 100(0)% sure I like and want. I do like your dress though, especially the upper part. Amazing "gang" you have there! ;)

Oh that is the perfect soup for Thanksgiving. I tried on that exact dress too, and I thought it was way too big on me so I left it. I think if you get it taken in so it's more form fitting, then you'll totally love it.

I've totally had those purchases where I'm not sure if I should keep...then I keep them too long. haha.

I love this pattern on the dress. I actually got it in the shirt version but have not yet worn it. hah
