#FanExpoCan 2014 (Photo Heavy)

It wouldn't be summer without going to Fan Expo, held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This is another tradition for the family, being the nerds that we are (see 2012 and 2013). I must say that this year was epic in terms of the number of people there! Wowza! If you're claustrophobic, this event may not be the best idea. Still, there's always a lot of things to see and enjoy, and makes the jostling all worth it. The cosplay alone...just awesome....

Because who doesn't love The Hunger Games?












And because I love Lord Of The Rings, this happened...eeeek! Elijah Wood!


So surreal to have met Frodo! Don't I look  too happy here? There was a camera glitch so I had a few extra seconds with him. What did I do? Give him a hug....I may have scared the poor guy. Hehe...I have no shame...he was really sweet though.

No way!! Elija Woods was at your Con?!?! And you got to touch him!! AWESOME!! We had Peter Mayhew, the guy that's played Chewbacca since the beginning of Star Wars and a few other smaller names. Our con is still pretty new and independently produced by locals so it's nowhere close to being as big and awesome as the one you went to.

I've always wanted to go Emmy! We just had one in New Orleans but it wasn't cool like the one you went too and others I've seen. As a Star Wars fan, I love the storm troopers and that bat mobile is just too cool! You guys had a blast! Ummm was that the Exorcist girl! Eeek Gasp Puke Runnnnnnnnnnnn Twirling Head Ahead!

I was just telling yangkyu how I missed going to cons! There are a couple here where I live but I think they are much smaller in scale. Oh I would love to have gone to this one. And Elijah Wood!! I would've hugged him too! :)

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
