New York Public Library Digital Collections

As some of you may already know, the New York Public Library recently made available hundreds of thousands of public domain images, downloadable in high-res format to use however you want. How fantastic, right?

I'll have a look. Anything to skip studying for my language test tomorrow. I am prepared to fail, I can't pass having forgot pretty much from the little I knew before pregnancy, etc. But I will still go take the test, then I'll know what to expect on the next session in summer.

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. I know a lot of people don't like wearing leggings as pants. I'm not one of those people. (I do have a rule that the top has to be long enough to cover your butt.
