Currently Loving #32

These are the things I've enjoyed/been enjoying lately.
As you all know, my blog has always been sponsor/ad-free....these are just the stuff I truly like/love/enjoy:) All links are for info purposes only.

1)  City Hall
I am a huge Cha Seung Won fan since seeing him on The Greatest Love, and also love Kim Sun Ah after seeing her on My Lovely Sam Soon, so Rowena recommended I watch this show (she also recommended the other shows.) I  am so glad I finally did got the chance to see it. I ended up marathoning the 20 episodes.
Just an awesome show. Great cast (both the leads and the supporting) and all the characters are relatable, even the so-called villains. And Seung Won is also uber hot...teehee...
Thanks again for recommending this, Rowena!

2) Supernatural
I was looking for a horror movie to watch on Netflix, but I decided to check out the first episode of this show just out of curiosity and oh...my....gosh. Am so hooked! Just a fun watch...it's like a combination of X-Files and Buffy The Vampire Slayer....and of course, let's not forget the eye candy Jensen Ackles (He also sings! WUT?!?!!).

I'm watching Season 2 right now. It's currently on Season 12 , and Netflix goes up to Season 10, I think....yay!!

3) Portlandia
Ok...we actually don't get the IFC channel, so I've just been watching all the Portlandia sketches available on YouTube. One of the funniest shows I've seen, you guys! Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are just fab with all the characters that they do.:D

4) Bioré UV Super UV Milk
I ran out of my holy grail sunscreen Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence, so I decided to pick this one up to tide me over. All I can say is that Bioré is now my official sunscreen brand of choice. Love this Super UV Milk as well. It doesn't break me out; it goes on without any greasy feel, and is absorbed quickly by the skin. It's also water proof, so this will be perfect during the summer when we go to the pool/beach.

5) Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder
This is one of the few makeup products I kept using even after my bout of cystic acne occurred. This does a great job of controlling the oil slick on my T-zone.

6) The app KnitCompanion (iOS and Android)
This app has been around for a long time and has been touted as amazing by many knitters. I just recently started using it and am already blown away. If you're a knitter and you don't have this yet, do download it now. You won't regret it:)
It just makes following a knitting pattern so easy with all the different things you can do with it (all sorts of counters, being able to write notes and highlight charts on the PDF, etc.) You can buy a subscription for more options, or buy patterns that are KnitCompanion-ready so all of you do is knit right away (without having to set up the pattern for use.)

7) Speaking of knitting, I am also currently loving this knitting pattern I'm using right now for socks: Hermione's Everyday Socks. It's super easy to follow and is well-written, plus...it's free, y'all!

So...you know the drill. You have to let me know what you've been loving lately, too:) Are you a fan of any of the items listed above?

Everybody here in Finland is knitting socks! Not me, though.. :D We'll be home for the winter holidays, around the house and visiting close family probably. That does not mean I'm not checking Skyscanner every now and then for possible get-aways! :D I loved the British series The Missing. Marathon. Only 2 seasons unfortunately.

Hehe.. me and Lukas make a great team when travelling. I have to admit the very first time I was literally sick I was so stressed. But then he didn't cry, he was happy, it got easier so we got brave and traveled more! But now I have to check up on him, he is drawing on the floor!!!
I can't believe Supernatural is still on TV, that show is like a 100 years old? Okay, I exaggerate but you know what I mean. LOL! I used to watch it but lost track of it years ago.

I'm so glad that you ended up loving City Hall as much as I did and maybe even a little more ;p I'm usually fairly confident when I make K-drama recs but I had a feeling this one would really speak to you because it was so well acted and written. We watch Supernatural every now and then. My husband and I joke that's like the show that own't go away LOL I can't say that I find Jensen Ackles all that attractive but I do enjoy the humor which they infuse his character with considering the darkness of what they do on that show :) I ahve yet to try Bioré sunscreens but I keep hearing good things about them. Nice that you found another winner!

So I think I was randomly looking for something one day when I came upon Supernatural and decided to give it a go. This was some time last year or the year before. I loved it! I think I watched all the way up to season 9. I feel bad because I don't really watch it that much anymore, but I must admit that it's a pretty fun show. I love all the episodes that aren't actually about the overarching good vs evil theme. They get really funny and creative with their story lines. There's an episode (don't remember what season) where Sam and Dean are playing "Sam and Dean" in Supernatural and it's like they're on the set of their own show. To them, they don't know what the hell is happening. But everyone is calling them Jensen and Jared. It's hilarious!

YES, Supernatural is AWESOME! As is Jensen Ackles... rawr :-)
I didn't even know Biore made a sunscreen! LOL Emmy, I will have to look for it the next time I go to the store. It sounds really good. A knit companion app! That is awesome. There is literally an app for everything. Love those socks! Very nice pattern and colors.

City Hall is an awesome show indeed. It's so funny and I just loved the ending. I'm also a huge supernatural fan. Though I've only recently gotten into it. Maybe the last four seasons. I should start from the start but man, so much happens. I'm not sure if I can keep up!

I love knitting but I have no idea how to follow a pattern. I'm going to work on that next year.
I believe Supernatural isn't available on Dutch Netflix. I am looking for something new too watch. I am afraid I've binge-watched too much ;-)
