This is how I do it.

I usually wear red for New Year (both for January 1st and the Chinese New Year) for good luck. Here's to an awesome 2017!
a dress I sewed awhile back using the Bettine dress pattern, Timberland boots

with my trusty North Face coat

Yes KM definitely changed the way I shopped as well. I think that goes with how it makes you examine your relationship with your stuff in general and once you shift your mindset it does stick. it did for me anyway so I bet it will for you as well. I really believe this leads to a better sense of well being too!

Yep I totally agree that TWTWB could've done with one more episode just to wrap things up cause the the last ep did feel rushed and left many questions unanswered. Sorry to hear you were sick but at least you had something good to keep you company during the time. I usually avoid dramas that will make me cry but I didn't mind it with that drama at all. I'm considering watching Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds but I don't do saeguks haha. PBG's acceptance speech was so sweet and humble and it was so cute how SJK cried along wth him. They have such a strong bromance.

Emmy, you look fabulous in your red! I did the same. I've taken on many Asian CNY & NY practices that promote good luck. I love them and have found them so helpful over the years. I never thought about wearing a color for the new year. But if I did, it would be purple. I did walk in the rain, though. I thought it was good luck to get washed by mother nature. You look pretty in red, and I love these boots. Keep on smiling. 2017 is going to be a great year!

Awesome red dress! I like the boots with it :) I try to wear red for CNY (hubby's family celebrates it) but don't usually wear anything special for the 1st of January.

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
